Lockdown Home Glimpse

When the lockdown started anew,

Work remote, into homes, gave a view.

In zoom meetings, an employee as new

He knew his screen was always black,

Like his skin, it was forever dark.

But he chose to stay in the back.

When this team member spoke,

You indeed felt the woke.

His voice was somewhat raspy.

He sounded a bit bubbly happy.

We couldn't have imagined

the rhapsody of his home by chagrin.

Just once, he buzzed our screens.

We almost busted out with screams.

His abode's layout was most beautiful.

This private person, ever so thoughtful.

His roost in and out gave us a quick glimpse.

We only saw it all perchance, not by primps.
